Recess is not just for kids anymore because Laughing At & Understanding Good Humor Seminars (LAUGHS) is offering employees humor and laughter breaks at work. A lot of employees are suffering from AADS (Acquired Amusement Deficiency Syndrome). This is due in large part to corporations reorganizations, layoffs, mergers, corporate buyouts, high unemployment, stress at work, and at home. As a result, it appears that humor and laughter have also been terminated or laid off from many businesses and corporations. The typical length of RECESS is an hour but can be expanded to two hours if the need exists. The employees engage in a variety of zany interactive games and exercises to tickle their funny bones, energize their body and helps them to lighten up.

An additional feature of R.E.C.E.S.S. is helping the employers and employees to create a fun-working environment. This novel concept is being implemented in many corporations large and small across the country.
